HBOMax on TV shows purple screen not loading. We were able to watch a whole movie on 12/22 and now we are unable to login to watch another. It doesn’t even show the login screen. The Sony TV is Not Compatible. HBO Max may not be available on your Sony TV. HBO Max requires TVs to be operating Android OS 5 or later. This means that those that were manufactured before 2015 are not compatible with HBO Max. If your TV is a newer Sony TV, you might just need to update the firmware to run OS 5 or later.
